my work on this
I lead the technical development of Quack Hunters, covering the core gameplay code, co-op systems, interaction mechanics, tools, and multiplayer layer. I'm responsible for turning the game's design into working systems and keeping the moment-to-moment gameplay solid across networked play.

click to enlargeQuack Hunters is a co-op monster hunt featuring the world’s bravest ducks. Assemble a squad of up to four ducks in tactical jumpsuits, gear up from the van, and head out into the anomaly zone. Made at Vampire Squid, published by Polden Publishing.
What it is
You search for unknown beasts in the pitch-black woods, trap them, cage them, and sell the catch to fund your next upgrade. The core tool is the beam gun — it flings objects, tosses your friends around, and catches monsters. It’s also prone to overheating in exactly the moments you need it most.
What’s in the hunt
- Track and catch — find the beasts, bait them, and secure the cage before the sun comes up.
- Nasty horrors — hostile creatures lurk around every corner. Study their habits and fill the bestiary to stay ahead.
- The van — turn monster-hunting profits into firepower and transform the van into a mobile hub of high-tech gadgets.
Where it is now
In development. The Steam page is live and a closed playtest has already run — wishlist it on Steam.
